A third-year pharmacy intern supports retail pharmacy operations and patient care while completing hands-on training under a preceptor in preparation for a pharmacist role.
What you'll do
- Help fill prescriptions safely and accurately, follow pharmacy procedures, and provide caring patient service under pharmacist supervision.
- Support patient health services, including immunizations where permitted and appropriately trained, and assist with inventory and pharmacy workflow.
- Complete the training roadmap, follow applicable laws and company policies, and contribute to team learning and operations.
