A third-year pharmacy intern supports retail pharmacy operations and patient care under pharmacist supervision while completing a training roadmap to prepare for a pharmacist role.
What you'll do
- Help fill prescriptions safely and accurately, follow pharmacy workflows and procedures, and provide caring service to patients.
- Under a licensed pharmacist’s direction, assist with counseling, prescription questions, immunizations, inventory, and other patient health services as permitted by law.
- Complete training experiences and follow applicable laws, regulations, and company procedures while contributing to the pharmacy team.
