A third-year pharmacy student intern applies classroom learning in a retail pharmacy, supporting prescription fulfillment, patient care, and pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision.
What you'll do
- Complete a training roadmap and assist with safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and pharmacy workflows.
- Support patient service, including counseling and handling medical questions under a licensed pharmacist’s supervision, where appropriate.
- Assist with inventory, immunizations, and other health services as permitted by law, training, and state regulations.
