A third-year pharmacy student works under pharmacist supervision to support safe prescription fulfillment, patient care, and pharmacy operations while completing a training roadmap in preparation for a pharmacist role.
What you'll do
- Follow pharmacy workflows and procedures to help ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
- Assist patients with service and care, including counseling or prescription questions under pharmacist supervision where appropriate and permitted.
- Complete pharmacy training and operational tasks, such as inventory activities and, where permitted and trained, immunization support.
