A third-year pharmacy student intern applies pharmacy-school learning in a retail pharmacy, supports safe prescription fulfillment and patient care, and completes training in preparation for pharmacist responsibilities.
What you'll do
- Support pharmacy workflow and accurate, timely prescription fulfillment while following company SOPs and applicable regulations.
- Assist patients with caring service, including counseling or handling medical questions under a licensed pharmacist’s supervision when appropriate.
- Complete the training roadmap and support inventory, immunizations, and other patient health services where permitted and appropriately trained.
