A third-year pharmacy intern applies pharmacy-school learning in CVS retail pharmacies, supporting prescription fulfillment and patient care while completing a supervised training roadmap toward pharmacist responsibilities.
What you'll do
- Support pharmacy workflows and help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while following SOPs and regulations.
- Assist patients with caring service, counseling and prescription questions under pharmacist supervision, and provide additional health services where permitted and trained.
- Complete the training roadmap and support pharmacy operations, including inventory tasks and, where permitted, vaccine preparation and administration.
