A third-year Pharmacy Intern applies pharmacy-school learning in a retail pharmacy, supporting safe prescription fulfillment, patient care, and pharmacy operations under a preceptor and licensed pharmacist’s direction.
What you'll do
- Complete the training roadmap and follow pharmacy procedures to support accurate, safe prescription fulfillment and smooth operations.
- Assist patients with service and counseling as appropriate under pharmacist supervision; support immunizations and other health services where permitted and trained.
- Perform inventory tasks, communicate with the pharmacy team, and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and CVS policies.
