A third-year pharmacy student intern supports retail pharmacy operations and patient care under pharmacist supervision while completing training in preparation for a pharmacist role.
What you'll do
- Assist with safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, pharmacy workflows, inventory tasks, and compliance with procedures and regulations.
- Support patient care through service, prescription-related questions, immunizations, and other health services when permitted and appropriately supervised.
- Complete the training roadmap and collaborate with pharmacy colleagues, including coaching and mentoring as appropriate.
