A third-year pharmacy intern applies pharmacy-school learning in a retail pharmacy while supporting prescription fulfillment, patient care, and pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision.
What you'll do
- Follow pharmacy procedures and help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
- Assist patients, support pharmacist-supervised counseling and services, and help resolve or escalate patient concerns.
- Complete training and pharmacy operations tasks, including inventory activities and, where permitted, immunization support.
