A third-year pharmacy student intern applies pharmacy-school learning in a retail pharmacy, supporting prescription fulfillment, patient care, and pharmacy operations under a preceptor’s direction.
What you'll do
- Follow pharmacy procedures to help fill prescriptions safely and accurately, support workflow, and complete basic inventory activities.
- Assist patients with service and health-care needs, including counseling or immunization support when permitted and under required supervision or training.
- Complete the training roadmap, follow applicable laws and CVS policies, and contribute to effective pharmacy operations and teamwork.
