A third-year pharmacy student intern supports retail pharmacy operations and patient care while completing hands-on training in preparation for a pharmacist role.
What you'll do
- Follow pharmacy procedures to help ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately, and support pharmacy workflow and inventory tasks.
- Assist patients with caring service and, under pharmacist supervision, handle counseling, medical questions, and prescription-related communications where permitted.
- Complete the training roadmap and support additional services such as immunizations when legally allowed and appropriately trained.
