A third-year pharmacy student intern supports retail pharmacy operations and patient care while completing a supervised training roadmap in preparation for a pharmacist role.
What you'll do
- Help fill prescriptions safely and accurately, follow pharmacy procedures, and support inventory activities.
- Assist patients with service and health-care questions under pharmacist supervision; take or clarify prescriptions where state regulations allow.
- Complete training and, where permitted and qualified, support immunizations and other patient health services.
