A third-year pharmacy intern supports retail pharmacy operations and patient care while completing a hands-on training roadmap in preparation for a pharmacist role.
What you'll do
- Help fill prescriptions safely and accurately, follow pharmacy workflows and SOPs, and support inventory activities.
- Serve patients with empathy, answer or escalate questions, and assist with services such as immunizations when permitted and appropriately trained.
- Complete training experiences and support pharmacy operations under the direction of a preceptor and licensed pharmacist.
