A third-year Pharmacy Intern applies pharmacy-school learning in a retail pharmacy, supporting safe prescription fulfillment, patient care, and pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision.
What you'll do
- Follow pharmacy procedures and assist with accurate prescription fulfillment, workflow, inventory, and compliance.
- Support patient service by answering questions, gathering medical history, taking or clarifying prescriptions where permitted, and escalating issues to a pharmacist.
- Complete the training roadmap and, where allowed and trained, support immunizations and other patient health services.
