A third-year pharmacy student intern supports retail pharmacy operations and patient care while completing hands-on training in preparation for a pharmacist role.
What you'll do
- Help the pharmacy team fill prescriptions safely and accurately, follow pharmacy procedures, and provide caring service to patients under pharmacist supervision.
- Complete a training roadmap covering pharmacy workflow and store, district, and regional operations; assist with inventory and other pharmacy activities as permitted by law.
- Support patient health services, including immunizations where permitted and appropriately trained, and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and CVS policies.
