A third-year pharmacy student intern supports retail pharmacy operations and patient care under pharmacist supervision while completing training to prepare for a pharmacist role.
What you'll do
- Help fill prescriptions safely and accurately, follow pharmacy workflows and SOPs, and provide caring patient service under pharmacist supervision.
- Complete a training roadmap and support pharmacy operations, including inventory tasks and, where permitted, immunizations and other health services.
- Follow applicable laws, professional standards, and CVS policies for patient safety, controlled substances, and privacy.
