A third-year pharmacy student intern supports retail pharmacy operations and patient care while completing training to prepare for a pharmacist role.
What you'll do
- Help fill prescriptions safely and accurately, follow pharmacy procedures, and support day-to-day pharmacy operations.
- Assist patients with service needs and, under pharmacist supervision, handle counseling, medical questions, and prescription communications where allowed by law.
- Complete training activities and support inventory, immunizations, and other patient health services when permitted and appropriately trained.
