A third-year pharmacy student intern supports retail pharmacy operations and patient care under pharmacist supervision while completing a training roadmap to prepare for a pharmacist role.
What you'll do
- Help fill prescriptions safely and accurately, follow pharmacy workflows and procedures, and support inventory activities.
- Assist patients with service and, under pharmacist supervision, counseling, medical questions, and prescription clarification where permitted.
- Complete training and support additional services such as immunizations where allowed and appropriately trained.
