A third-year Pharmacy Intern applies pharmacy-school learning in a retail pharmacy, supporting safe prescription fulfillment, patient care, and pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision.
What you'll do
- Follow pharmacy workflows and standard procedures to help fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
- Assist patients with services and questions, escalating or referring matters to a licensed pharmacist when appropriate.
- Complete training and operational tasks, including inventory activities and, where permitted, immunization support.
