Senior BI Engineer (Platform, Databricks)

What you'll do

• Design and maintain dimensional reporting models, views, and consistent metric definitions; build dashboards for data quality, delivery timeliness, SLAs, payer performance, and platform costs.
• Publish and document certified datasets, maintain the data dictionary, and coach users on accurate self-service analytics.
• Set BI governance and security standards; evaluate tools, lead migrations, tune performance and reliability, and partner with stakeholders to improve adoption.

What they ask for

• 3+ years in business intelligence, analytics engineering, or data engineering, including enterprise dashboards and reporting data models with cross-functional teams.
• 3+ years coding in SQL and data modeling, including performance tuning and dimensional modeling.
• 3+ years with an enterprise BI platform (Tableau or Power BI), including publishing, permissions, and performance tuning.
• 3+ years with semantic layers, cloud data platforms, and data governance, including sensitive-data handling and role-based, row- and column-level security.

Nice to have

• 6+ years in BI, analytics engineering, or data engineering, including 4+ years building enterprise dashboards and reporting data models; user coaching and documentation skills.
• Git, code review, CI/CD, dbt or similar, Python, thoughtful use of AI tools or natural-language analytics, or Tableau, Power BI, or Databricks certifications.

Pay

$83,430.00 - $203,940.00 (base salary; posting describes this as a base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary).
