Manages and mentors an underwriting team while supporting risk assessment, pricing, proposals, stakeholder relationships, and process improvements for Meritain Health.
What you'll do
- Manage team workflow, coach underwriters, conduct quality reviews, and support hiring and training.
- Assist with underwriting analysis, risk assessment, quotes, and financial projections; apply guidelines and negotiate terms within assigned authority.
- Coordinate final rate submissions, collaborate with stakeholders, and lead or contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.
