About the job

What you'll do
- Complete the Bazel migration and migrate tests, including tagging, sharding, and routing hardware-dependent tests to suitable executors.
- Design, deploy, and operate remote execution; build hermetic toolchains and reproducible builds, and improve cache reliability.
- Measure and reduce build and CI times, evolve CI/CD, and promote effective Bazel practices across engineering teams.
What they ask for
- Deep ownership experience with Bazel, including custom rules, toolchains, and target graph design in a large repository.
- Experience migrating a real codebase to Bazel, including the long tail.
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating remote caching or remote execution.
- Strong knowledge of C++, Rust, Python, Linux, and container image builds.
Nice to have
- Experience migrating test suites to Bazel or using Kubernetes-based executor pools.
- Embedded or firmware cross-compilation experience, or open source contributions to the Bazel ecosystem.
