About the job
Conduct independent assessments of cybersecurity controls and authorization artifacts for IT systems and applications, including DoD GovCloud environments, and report findings and recommendations to security and authorization leaders.
What you'll do
- Assess system security controls, architecture, and authorization artifacts for compliance with applicable federal, DoD, and Air Force requirements.
- Identify risks, vulnerabilities, control gaps, and deficiencies; test controls and review risk assessments and POA&Ms.
- Provide assessment conclusions, reports, and recommendations to the SCA, AO, and CISO.

- Cloud platform experience with at least one AWS, Azure, or Google GCP service; hands-on eMASS and/or Xacta full system lifecycle experience.
- Experience with Air Force risk management policies, the CC SRG, and evaluating compliance against STIGs; knowledge of the DoD DevSecOps Fundamentals Playbook.
- At least one listed certification; a B.A. or B.S. in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline; U.S. citizenship and a current Top Secret clearance.
Nice to have
- Experience with the Fast Track ATO Handbook or AF Continuous ATO Playbook; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines or DevSecOps.
- Familiarity with Sharepoint, JIRA, or Confluence.

USD 140,000.00 - USD 170,000.00 base salary
