Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) - Financial Services

What you'll do

• Design and deliver production-grade data, AI, and application systems, including reference architectures, pipelines, and model integrations.
• Advise and embed with customer teams on architecture, implementation, and adoption; coordinate delivery with customer and Databricks teams.
• Create reusable accelerators and provide product and implementation feedback to Databricks teams.

What they ask for

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms and analytics, or software engineering.
• Code in at least one of Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks; working knowledge of at least two cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP), with expertise in one.
• Deep distributed computing experience with Apache Spark and knowledge of Spark runtime internals; familiarity with CI/CD, MLOps, ML/AI models, and AI APIs.
• Experience delivering technical projects and working with enterprise clients and broad stakeholder groups; travel to customers 20% of the time.

$182,000 — $250,208 USD (base salary), Zone 1; $182,000 — $250,208 USD (base salary), Zone 2; $182,000 — $250,208 USD (base salary), Zone 3; $182,000 — $250,208 USD (base salary), Zone 4
