What you'll do
- Run end-to-end U.S. and international payroll, including payroll taxes and year-end filings.
- Administer stock in Carta and handle monthly payroll and equity close activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Document and improve controls and processes; expand into T&E, accounts payable, and other accounting operations as capacity allows.
What they ask for
- 4-6 years of progressive payroll experience with full ownership of U.S. and international payroll.
- Fluency in payroll taxes, including registrations, multi-state nexus, and year-end forms; deep knowledge of payroll compliance and reporting.
- Working knowledge of equity compensation mechanics, including ISO/NSO, exercises, dispositions, withholding, and reporting.
- Ability to independently close payroll-related books, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
Nice to have
- Experience at a hyper-growth company, launching payroll in a new country, or working with external auditors on payroll and equity testing.
- Exposure to AP, AR, or T&E operations; Rippling experience is helpful.
Pay
$140,000 - $170,000 USD base salary
