About the job

Conduct LLM research, run distributed training experiments, and deploy models into production, with a focus on advancing transformer-based systems.

What you'll do

  • Define research initiatives, survey and assess literature, and design LLM experiments.
  • Run transformer training on distributed compute infrastructure and deploy models into production.
  • Document and present findings, and track deep learning and LLM advances relevant to products.

What they ask for

  • 3+ years of applied deep learning research experience.
  • Proven LLM experience, including data curation, distributed large-scale training, transformer optimization, and RL training.
  • Strong Python and Pytorch skills, plus experience with transformer architectures.
  • Experience with distributed computing, large-scale data processing, and experimental programs to optimize models.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of distributed LLM training and inference, and familiarity with RLHF pipelines.
  • Published papers in Deep Learning Research, particularly related to LLMs and deep neural networks.
