About the job

Build and deploy robot learning systems for manipulation, navigation, and control, from simulation to physical robots.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement learning algorithms for robot tasks, from simulation through physical deployment.
  • Develop robot dexterity and mobility using reinforcement learning, imitation learning, and foundation models; scale model training and fine-tuning.
  • Build robust manipulation skills and collaborate with hardware, controls, and systems engineers.

What they ask for

  • PhD in a listed or related field; or a master's degree with 1+ years of industry experience; or a bachelor's degree with 3+ years of industry experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience developing AI systems for robotics applications.
  • Expertise in modern robot learning techniques and proficiency in Python and a deep learning framework (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX).
  • Experience conducting real-robot experiments, debugging robotic systems, and using robot simulators.

Nice to have

  • Publications at top robotics/ML conferences or experience with vision-language or foundation models for robotics.
  • Familiarity with sim-to-real transfer, domain randomization, distributed training, MLOps, or taking research from prototype to production.
