About the job
Own end-to-end product design for BuildOS, a software suite that helps manufacturing engineers define, manage, and distribute how products are built.
What you'll do
- Design workflows and interactions across 3D CAD, structured data authoring, document generation, and shop-floor tools.
- Define a coherent design language, system, and product standards for complex manufacturing workflows.
- Partner with users, Product, and Engineering from research and exploration through implementation and release.
What they ask for
- 5+ years of product design experience; ideally in complex B2B, technical, or professional software.
- Technical acumen and experience designing complex systems, workflows, and information-heavy interfaces.
- Strong interaction and visual design skills, including taking designs from concepts and prototypes to production.
- Experience owning projects end-to-end, using qualitative and quantitative insights to inform decisions.
Nice to have
- Experience with CAD, PLM, EDA, developer tools, data tools, industrial software, or other professional-grade applications.
- Frontend contribution experience, particularly with React, TypeScript, HTML, or CSS.
