Designs, builds, analyzes, tests, and integrates automated drilling rigs, taking mechanical hardware from initial concepts through production and field operation.
What you'll do
- Own development of drilling rigs, including mechanical design, analysis, prototyping, qualification, and integration.
- Optimize systems for performance, weight, cost, durability, and manufacturability; conduct field visits and implement improvements.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and vendors, and manage project delivery through production and operation.
