About the job
Develops and reviews civil design packages for building renovations and upgrades at the Naval Support Facility Indian Head, supporting projects from concept through delivery.
What you'll do
- Prepare civil design packages, including calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates, and provide occasional design work.
- Review designs for compliance with building codes, regulations, processes, and end-user requirements; support permitting and construction.
- Prepare technical reports, collaborate with stakeholders, and serve as project or design manager on some projects.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience; must hold or be actively pursuing a PE license.
- Experience with facility design and design reviews for code compliance, permitting, and construction.
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance and be a U.S. citizen.
