About the job
Define and build the technical direction and capabilities of Elasticsearch’s core search infrastructure, including indexing, retrieval, query execution, and relevance.
What you'll do
- Lead and contribute to the evolution of search and indexing capabilities, using research into infrastructure, data structures, and retrieval algorithms.
- Set long-term technical vision and roadmap in collaboration with product teams, partners, and engineers across teams.
- Mentor expert engineers and serve as a technical authority for Elasticsearch domains.
