About the job

Build and improve user interfaces for Elastic’s Fleet and Streams products, which manage Elastic Agent and log-data ingestion, organization, processing, and retention.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement UI components and integrate them with back-end services; use usability testing and feedback to guide improvements.
  • Own complex projects end-to-end and lead architecture and system-design decisions, considering compatibility, performance, and scale.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and a distributed team; review code and promote coding standards, reusable components, and automated testing and deployment.

What they ask for

  • Production experience with full-stack JavaScript, preferably TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
  • Track record of leading non-trivial projects end-to-end with design ownership and minimal guidance.
  • Architecture and system-design judgment, including in large existing codebases.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Reactflow.
  • Experience with the Elastic stack, observability tooling, or log/data-ingestion pipelines; Go, Kubernetes, or cloud-native development; large data-heavy UIs or streaming data; open-source work; or mentoring.

Tools

TypeScript, React, Node.js, Reactflow, GitHub, Slack, Go, Kubernetes

AI focus

Use AI-assisted development tools to build features faster, fix complex systems, and improve existing codebases.
