Owns and improves the data pipelines and backend systems that process usage data and generate accurate, auditable billing records and invoices for Elastic Cloud.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain billing data pipelines and reliable Python backend services, including PostgreSQL schema and query improvements.
- Lead projects end-to-end and improve system observability, reliability, and production readiness, including on-call participation.
- Review designs and code, mentor junior engineers, and work with Product, SRE, and Cloud Infrastructure teams on priorities and technical direction.
