About the job
Own power integrity methodology for high-power PCB and system designs, from architecture through release, ensuring robust power delivery to ASICs and supporting components.
What you'll do
- Perform PDN, IR-drop, current-density, impedance, VRM, and thermal-electrical analyses; define PCB power-delivery requirements.
- Collaborate with power design, layout, ASIC, package, and mechanical teams on power-delivery architecture, design reviews, and PI compliance.
- Support hardware bring-up and rail-level debugging, document corrective actions, and improve simulation-to-hardware correlation.
What they ask for
- B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- 5+ years of hands-on PI experience on high-current, high-performance designs.
- Proficiency with industry PI EDA tools (Ansys SIwave, Cadence Sigrity PowerDC/PowerSI/OptimizePI, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of target impedance, decoupling networks, plane resonances, DC IR-drop, current density, VRM fundamentals, and multi-layer PCB power-plane strategies.
Nice to have
- Experience in data center, AI/ML accelerator, networking, or HPC hardware environments.
- Experience with vertical power delivery, package-level PDN co-analysis, or scripting PI simulation flows using Python or MATLAB.
