Staff AI Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and implement the technical AI strategy, including approaches to frontier models and AI at trillion-token scale.
• Guide and mentor engineers across the organization on AI, sharing developments and expertise.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, data science, product, design, and other teams to identify and deliver AI opportunities.

What they ask for

• At least 6 years of experience working in ML/AI and 8+ years overall in software engineering.
• Experience leading significant AI projects, including applying LLMs in production and NLP/text analysis.
• Programming skills in at least one scripting language, such as Python.
• Ability to collaborate across teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and share knowledge.

Nice to have

• Experience with retrieval-based LMs or RAG, knowledge representation, vector or graph databases, multimodal processing, or AI agents.
• Previous experience with SaaS and distributed systems.

$228,000 - $288,000 USD base salary
