Director Technical Program Management , Planning

What you'll do

• Lead and develop the TPM team and oversee its program slate, standards, and community of practice.
• Run annual and quarterly planning, including engineering commitments, capacity planning, and headcount allocation.
• Use data and AI-assisted insights to improve portfolio visibility, resource allocation, predictability, and delivery.

What they ask for

• 12+ years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor's, or 10+ years with a Master's; includes at least 4 years leading TPM teams or a TPM function at Director-level people leadership scope across multiple engineering groups or equivalent experience.
• Experience running enterprise-scale annual and quarterly planning cycles, including capacity planning, commitment tracking, and headcount allocation.
• Experience shaping portfolio investment as a strategic peer to Engineering and Product leadership, and establishing or scaling TPM community capabilities.
• Fluency with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows for program management, including practical AI/ML application and responsible-use governance.

Nice to have

• Experience with centralized Analytics or BI teams and dynamic, data-driven resource allocation and portfolio models.
• Experience in matrixed organizations, Jira-based or comparable delivery hierarchies, and operational excellence at scale.

Pay

$231,000.00 to $323,500.00; up to $369,500.00 (total cash, Seattle); $249,000.00 to $348,500.00; up to $398,500.00 (total cash, San Jose)
