About the job
Designs, builds, and iterates on vacuum systems and specialized equipment for semiconductor fabrication, from components through complete production systems.
What you'll do
- Own semiconductor fabrication systems and subsystems end-to-end, including deposition, etch, annealing, plasma tools, and related hardware.
- Design and iterate on machines, frames, components, and assemblies; source parts and materials with vendors.
- Work with process, electrical, software, and production teams to develop and validate equipment.
What they ask for
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or Physics.
- Experience designing vacuum systems or fluid-handling hardware, with strong fundamentals in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
- Demonstrated ability to design and ship machined and fabricated metal parts into working systems; comfortable with pumps, valves, fittings, tubing, chambers, and thermal systems.
Nice to have
- Knowledge or experience with plasma systems, CVD, or ALD.
- Familiarity with leak detection, vacuum diagnostics, productionization, or testing.
Tools
deposition, etch, annealing, plasma tools, mass flow controllers, pressure sensors, CVD, ALD
