What you'll do

  • Develop path, trajectory, and reactive obstacle-avoidance planning and motion-control algorithms.
  • Build testing and simulation pipelines, validate on robots, and use field telemetry to improve autonomy.
  • Develop learning-based navigation and coordinate with perception and safety teams.

What they ask for

  • Master’s degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of motion planning, trajectory generation, and control systems; experience with classical planning and control, including trajectory optimization or MPC.
  • Experience implementing learning-based navigation and developing algorithms for at least one robotic system.
  • C++ and Python on Linux; familiarity with ROS/ROS 2 and robot sensors.

Nice to have

  • PhD; exposure to real-world autonomous-system deployment.
  • Experience with hybrid classical/learned planning, VLM/VLA deployment, ONNX Runtime, or NVIDIA TensorRT.

Pay

$70,000-$200,000 (base salary); USD 100,000–230,000 (per-year-salary)
