Own material readiness and purchasing for new product introduction PCBA and component builds, from prototypes through production handoff.
What you'll do
- Translate changing build plans and BOMs into material plans, shortage tracking, and clear-to-build status for EVT/DVT/PVT and pilot builds.
- Manage prototype and pilot purchasing, including RFQs, POs, supplier commitments, expedites, and material disposition for engineering changes.
- Support build execution and production transition by maintaining inventory and planning data, handing off supplier and part history, and improving readiness reporting.
