About the job
Design and release PCB layouts for humanoid robot hardware, from initial placement through production.
What you'll do
- Create PCB layouts for new and existing designs and prepare fabrication and assembly files.
- Perform and manage vendor DFx reports; collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Thermal engineers.
- Manage external PCB layout contractors.
What they ask for
- Strong experience with Altium, power converters (10W to >1kW), and flex, rigid flex, and HDI designs.
- Strong experience with DFx, including high-yield designs and designing for ICT/FCT.
- Strong understanding of rule-based designs, including creepage/clearance and high-speed rules; experience designing for EMI/EMC.
- Experience proposing and selecting materials and stackups; good grasp of EE fundamentals.
Nice to have
- Experience with high-speed designs (>8 GHz) and RF, simulation software, high-voltage applications (>60V), exotic PCB technologies, or PLM systems.
Pay
USD 150,000 to USD 250,000 per year (base salary)
