Screens hospital patients for eligibility for state, county, and federal assistance programs and helps them begin enrollment applications.
What you'll do
- Identify and screen self-pay patients, including inpatients and outpatient/ER accounts, for eligibility assistance.
- Help patients complete applications, follow up by phone or in person, and make home visits when required.
- Document screenings and account progress in hospital systems and tracking tools; coordinate with hospital staff and patient advocates.

- Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods.
Nice to have
- 1–3 years’ experience in medical coding, medical billing, eligibility, or other pertinent medical experience.

Pay
