Screens hospital patients for eligibility assistance programs and helps them complete applications, while documenting results and updating hospital and Firstsource contacts.
What you'll do
- Identify and screen self-pay patients for State, County, and Federal eligibility assistance programs, in person or by telephone.
- Help patients complete enrollment applications and facilitate follow-up with Patient Advocate Specialists.
- Document screening results and account information in tracking tools and hospital systems; keep client contacts informed of progress.
