About the job
Collects aging medical insurance claims by filing and appealing claims and researching account information, in an office or at a client site.
What you'll do
- File claims with appropriate forms, attachments, and supporting documentation; verify patient information and benefits.
- Research denials and submit written appeals; determine which insurance payer to bill.
- Document work in CUBS and other required systems, resolve accounts, and draft client letters.
