About the job
Lead the Core engineering team building and evolving dbt Fusion’s Rust-based dbt V2 engine, balancing technical direction, product delivery, and product stability.
What you'll do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 8 engineers while contributing to technical design and implementation.
- Partner with Product and engineering teams to shape roadmaps, scope, estimates, priorities, and cross-team initiatives.
- Guide engine design and delivery across runtime, SQL features, orchestration, IDE, adapters, warehouses, and LakeCompute.
