Staff Product Manager, AI & Developer Experience

What you'll do

• Own the multi-year vision, roadmap, priorities, and success metrics for Studio IDE, Developer Agent, Cloud CLI, and the dbt VS Code Extension.
• Lead AI agent product development, shaping agent workflows and principles for trust, transparency, control, and evaluation.
• Coordinate execution across Fusion, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams; use customer research and market insight to guide product decisions.

What they ask for

• 8+ years of product management experience, including owning strategy and roadmaps for developer platforms at scale.
• Direct experience owning developer environment products and hands-on experience with AI agents.
• Track record leading complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing across platform and product teams.
• Strong technical foundation, experience translating user research into product work, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Nice to have

• Experience building frontier AI agent products; hands-on experience with dbt or similar SQL-first transformation frameworks.
• Familiarity with LSP, tree-sitter, CLI tooling, open source or developer communities, or modern data warehouses.

Pay

$226,657–$283,322 USD (target new-hire compensation range; may include sales incentives or target bonuses depending on the role)

AI focus

Define and build AI coding-agent experiences for dbt users, including agentic workflows, multi-step task execution, context management, natural-language interaction, trust, and evaluation.
