Senior Director of Engineering, Technical Platform

What you'll do

• Set platform strategy and lead teams building self-service developer tooling and high-availability infrastructure.
• Establish AI infrastructure, cost controls, security guardrails, and governance to support AI adoption across the organization.
• Build and develop platform and IT leadership teams while aligning stakeholders across engineering, product, security, finance, and business functions.

• 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership, cloud infrastructure, and platform strategy.
• Proven experience leading platform engineering organizations supporting hundreds of software and data engineers across distributed teams.
• Technical depth across large-scale data processing pipelines, storage architectures, cloud platform services, and high-availability enterprise environments.
• Hands-on or strategic experience operationalizing AI/ML developer workflows, LLM infrastructure, or agentic developer tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare data compliance, security frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST), or regulated technical environments.
• Experience leading shifts toward platform-as-a-product or developer enablement models in multi-pillar engineering organizations.

Pay

$236,000.00 - $324,500.00 USD base salary
