About the job
Develop backend systems and hybrid cloud/HPC infrastructure for Flexcompute’s electromagnetic simulation platform, including APIs, data management, and simulation workload orchestration.
What you'll do
- Develop APIs and improve simulation data management, including caching, syncing, storage, and scripting.
- Collaborate with EM and infrastructure teams on backend and scheduler integrations and Python front-end functionality.
- Build and operate hybrid cloud/HPC compute and storage solutions, and optimize high-performance computing clusters.

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or computer engineering.
- Professional backend development experience using Java, Python, and/or C++; experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
- Expertise in backend services and web API architecture; hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Production distributed-systems experience, strong Linux and infrastructure troubleshooting skills, plus infrastructure automation and configuration management experience.
Nice to have
