About the job
Own and scale Fluidstack’s general ledger, financial close, accounting controls, and processes as the company grows.
What you'll do
- Oversee journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial statement preparation; lead month- and year-end close.
- Partner with finance leadership and external auditors to maintain internal controls and audit readiness.
- Build and improve accounting processes and controls, including replacing manual workarounds.
What they ask for
- Experience independently owning a company’s general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly financials.
- Experience leading month-end or year-end close and coordinating with FP&A, Tax, and cross-functional partners.
- Strong US GAAP knowledge, including accrual, cutoff, and capitalization decisions; daily NetSuite use and strong Excel skills.
- Hands-on experience supporting or leading an ERP or accounting system implementation, migration, or upgrade; CPA license or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
Nice to have
- Multi-entity or multi-currency accounting, intercompany accounting, or consolidations experience.
- Experience at a high-growth technology or infrastructure company, or supporting external audits.
