About the job
Leads sourcing, contracting, and cost management for capital equipment used in Fluidstack’s data center build program.
What you'll do
- Own sourcing strategy and competitive sourcing events for capital equipment, carrying awards through contract signature.
- Negotiate and manage equipment and framework agreements, coordinating contract terms with Legal and Finance.
- Partner on CapEx budgets and cash-flow forecasts, deliver cost reductions, and develop dual-source plans.
What they ask for
- Experience sourcing and negotiating high-value capital equipment or construction packages using total cost of ownership models.
- Experience structuring capital contracts with milestone payments, warranties, liquidated damages, and escalation terms, and managing them through delivery.
- Experience with CapEx budgets, cash-flow forecasts, and end-to-end RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes.
- Experience using ERP and procurement platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, or equivalent.
Nice to have
- CPSM or CPP certification.
- Capital procurement experience in data center, energy, or industrial construction environments.
