About the job
Design and develop fire protection systems for Fluidstack’s modular units and behind-the-meter plants, supporting permitting and commissioning.
What you'll do
- Design detection, suppression, and alarm systems; complete hydraulic calculations, layouts, coverage assessments, and device placement.
- Develop standardized fire protection designs for fabrication into modules.
- Support permitting and commissioning by answering AHJ questions and helping pass acceptance tests.
What they ask for
- Experience designing fire protection systems for industrial or mission-critical facilities.
- Ability to perform and take ownership of hydraulic calculations.
- Experience taking designs through plan review and acceptance testing.
- Knowledge of NFPA 13 and 72.
Nice to have
- Experience with clean agent or water mist systems, or BESS protection (NFPA 855).
- AutoSPRINK or HydraCAD; NICET or PE track.
